My wife and I went here and loved it. We will definitely go back! Topaz has become one of our recent favorites. Branko, the owner came around three times during our meal to see if everything was meeting our expectations. When we walked in, we were immediately impressed with the city-like decor, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It was our 18th wedding anniversary, so we had asked to make it special. We were seated in a large booth, even though it was just the two of us. The bar area was completely segregated from the restaurant, so that cut down on the noise, but it was still a little noisy every once in a while.
Our drinks were great. My wife had some sort of flavored martini off of their signature drink list. It was a little sweet for what we were eating, but that was easily solved with a healthy pour of some Markham 2013 Sauvignon Blanc.
My wife ordered the Warm grilled asparagus for an appetizer. Nice grilled flavor, with hints of lemon and a light Bearnaise sauce. Excellent!
I ordered the Roasted Beet Salad, which had a light ginger vinaigrette with some lime yogurt, which I asked for on the side. It was good to dip in, but would have been overwhelming if it was atop the salad.
Our entrees were both tremendous. I ordered Bison Skirt Steak, which came with roasted fingerlings, red pepper aioli, and chimichurri. It was a flavor explosion! Once of the best steaks I have eaten in a while. Make sure you order it rare to medium rare, as it is a thin steak and will cook quickly.
My wife ordered the Mushroom Ravioli with melted leeks, braised portobello, and red wine fig butter. This was also fabulous! The mushroom flavor was very pronounced, and the sauce was beautifully seasoned with the fig butter.
We were too full for dessert, however since it was our anniversary, they brought us each a shot of complimentary Limoncello. A nice way to end the dinner.
Our staff was very attentive, from the bus service, the bread server (the bread was awesome too) , and our waiter. As I stated before, the owner came by several times to check how things were. He made his way through the dining room many times.
Topaz also has a very nice area outside for dining, which includes another full service bar, and also an outside lounge with couches, ottomans, and tables for outside group seating. It was a little windy to enjoy this, but it was very nice.
Overall, it was an excellent evening, and we will definitely go back!

Thanks for the great review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your evening and we look forward to seeing you again soon!!
